Adnan has taught dance for more than twenty years, in schools, colleges and his own classes. By 2018 he was training some 20,000 students across institutions.
Classes start from the foundations of Kathak: posture, tatkar footwork, hand movements and counting the taal. They build towards turns, compositions and the expressive storytelling of abhinaya. Students who want to perform are prepared for the stage.
